Query Editor is an Excel Add-In for maintaining ODBC or OLE DB Query Tables.
I wrote this Add-In because I've become frustrated with having to use Microsoft Query. To me, it is an obstacle.
I have my own SQL Editor tool which understands SQL syntax much better.
Additionally, adding and maintaining parameters is easy with this Add-In.
It requires that you already have Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects and Windows Common Controls 6.0 (MSCOMCTL.OCX) installed.
After installing the XLA, look in the Data menu for Query Editor.
This is version 1.2
Be aware that it was developed in Microsoft Excel 2003 and has not yet been thoroughly tested in other versions of Excel.
